I have wagered on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
