I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
