I have enjoyed countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a few days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
